Field Work

I have spent 31 cumulative months studying primates in the field beginning with La Suerte Biological Field Station in Costa Rica and Kakamega Blue Monkey Project in Kenya. My dissertation research was at Toro-Semliki Wildlife Reserve in Uganda, and after completing my dissertation I spent 5 months working in both Itwara Forest Reserve and Kibale National Park in Uganda. My postdoctoral research at Boston University took me to South Africa to study two populations of wild vervet monkeys. I also have connections and open invitations to work at several other field sites throughout East Africa, Southern Africa, and Central America.
